President’s Day Shepherd’s Pie

For Mashed Potatoes:

Boil 5 medium size potatoes

Mash the Potatoes

And Add

Milk: 1 ½ cup

Sour Cream: 1/4 cup

Butter: 4 table spoon

Salt: Half tea spoon

Black Pepper: 1 tea spoon

To prepare ground Beef or Lamb:

Ground Beef: 1 1/2lbs

Cook until brown

Strain the fat

Chili Mix: 1 pack

Onion: 1

Tomato: 1

Corns and Peas: 150g each

Spring onion: 2

Tomato paste: 2 table spoon

Add everything one by one

Cover the bottom of

baking dish with beef mixture.

To make gravy:

Butter: 2 table spoon

All-purpose flour: 1 1/2 table spoon

My kids like McCormick’s Brown Gravy

so I added two cups of water to the roux

and 6 leveled table spoon of gravy mix

Pour gravy and top it with mashed potatoes in the baking dish

Top it with cheese and spring onion

Bake for 15–20 min on 425F
